SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER 

We are seeking a mix of talented professionals – ranging from those just beginning their professional careers to those with significant experience at commercial nuclear power plants.

Qualifications

Candidates for professional level nuclear positions at INPO should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (or equivalent nuclear plant experience)
• A desire to grow professionally within the nuclear power industry
• In-depth knowledge of nuclear power plant operations and equipment, and related corporate support activities
• Significant commercial nuclear power plant experience
• Excellent human relations skills
• Effective writing skills
• Certification or license as a senior reactor operator
• Management experience desired

Duties

• Review and analyze reported operating and construction events to identify problems of generic interest to the nuclear utility industry
• Conduct required analysis, on-site event investigations, and development of recommendations for correction of generic problems
• Prepare various operating experience reports, operations and maintenance reminders, and technical reports for issuance to the industry
• Participate in planning, organizing, and conducting technical workshops and interfaces with NRC, NSSS vendors, architect engineers, and utility owners groups
